Just fill out the contact form and we will take care of everything. We will transfer your domain name along with all of your existing web sites content.
How much does a website cost?
That all depends. Everyone is different, every business is different, therefore, everyone's needs are different. The best thing about LadyOArt.com is that we don't set a flat rate for our work....meaning, no $200/$500/$1000 packages. Since every project is different, every quote is different. We feel that a person just starting their business, asking for a simple 3 page website with a few photos and a way to have the public contact them should not be charged the same as a more prominent, well established business that requires 20 pages, a shopping cart, blog and more. We work with your needs and budget, not ours.
How long will it take to design my website?
The time frame is determined by the size of your web site, the complexity of your site design, and our current client design schedule. It is common practice to have your website completed and live within 30 days, but more complex sites can take longer. However, we have a priority support package available for those who desire it.
Do you custom design or use templates?
Both! There are a handful of clients who prefer to use generic templates that have not been altered very much and prefer a basic look. The majority of people however, like the look of a lot of pre-designed templates but require extreme changes to the graphics and/or layout, so while these sites are template-based, a lot of times the public cannot tell because these drastic changes have been applied. Then there is custom web design where your site is built from scratch, usually, these are the very simple sites that don't require a ton of customer interaction. Whatever your choice, we can do it for you.
Who will own the site design when it's complete?
You will. Although designers are legally able to claim their designs as their own copyrighted work, we feel that the design is representative of your company and thereby belongs to you. However, LadyOArt.com does reserve the right to use the designs we create for any online or printed marketing purposes (i.e. portfolio, sample sites, marketing materials showcasing designs, etc.).
What do I have to provide?
Usually clients provide the text, images, and feedback. If you cannot provide these, we offer services to purchase stock photos and copywriting services on your behalf.
Do we have to meet to be able to communicate about my project?
Absolutely not. We have a full service ticketing support system in place that will provide all of your communication needs on your project. If you have any issues, concerns, updates or comments about your project, all you have to do is open a ticket and submit your comments. Once the ticket has been resolved, it will be closed, however, you may always open a new one if and when a new issue arises.
Do you provide hosting and domain names?
Yes. We provide multiple different hosting plans depending on your needs and your budget. We also provide free domain registration for clients who purchase our premium hosting package.
I don't know how to manage my website, do you offer those services?
Yes! All of our clients are free to either manage their own sites or we can do it for you when you purchase one of our website maintenance and management packages. If you are also hosting your website with us, you are given one free hour of website maintenance and management per month. You can find more information about these packages in our services section. For those clients who wish to maintain their own websites but don't know how, we offer training services as well.
Can you create a blog for my site?
Absolutely! The bulk of the websites created by LadyOArt.com are CMS (Content Managment System) websites. The two main programs we use are Joomla! and WordPress, both well known for their blogging capabilities. We can create your blog for you and show you how to add posts and how to manage your users responses, or, we can maintain all of that for you.
Can you create a logo for my site?
Absolutely. We offer logo design for clients who either have no logo and need their first one, or for clients who would like to re-brand themselves and update their logos. We also have special packages that discount the cost of a logo if you purchase other services as well.
Do you provide online shopping carts if I want to sell my products online?
We sure do. There are several different shopping cart programs that we have at our disposal, depending on your needs. We can fully customize these carts to fit your website, never taking your customers off of your site and seamlessly integrate it into the look of your pages. For clients who wish to maintain their own website, we also provide training in the use of these shopping cart systems.
Do you also design marketing materials such as business cards and brochures?
Yes. We are a full service design and marketing company. That means, if it can be designed, chances are, we can design it. We can also provide multiple printing resources for your materials.
