We sponsor the International Tree Foundation, a charity committed to improving the environment. Instead of buying arable land, planting trees and selling credits to web hosting companies, the ITF engages in tree planting programs in the developing world. Obviously, tree planting adds significant carbon absorption capacity as part of the carbon cycle but by choosing to run these programs in the developing world, the ITF helps those in poverty by employing them to plant and then care for the trees.
